Terms of service
Last updated: October 25, 2026
These terms ("Terms") are an agreement between Lydon Solutions ("Lydon", "we", "us") and the organisation that licenses JobsViz, or the person using this website ("you"). They cover the JobsViz website at jobsviz.com (the "Site") and the JobsViz software: the SharePoint app package, its web parts and data tables, updates, and the licence service (together, "JobsViz"). If you accept these Terms for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.
If you have a signed agreement or an accepted quote with us for JobsViz (an "Order"), the Order wins where it differs from these Terms.
1. Using the Site
You may use the Site to learn about JobsViz and contact us. Please don't misuse it, for example by trying to break its security, overload it or send us spam through the contact form. The Site's content is provided for information and may change; screenshots show made-up demo data. Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information.
2. Your JobsViz licence
Subject to these Terms and your Order, and while you've paid the fees due, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for the licence term to install JobsViz in your own Microsoft 365 tenant (and, for testing, in your other tenants), and to let your employees and contractors use it for your internal business.
- Your licence covers the modules and language packs in your Order. The licence service confirms which ones you have.
- JobsViz checks your licence when it's activated and about once a day. If your licence ends and isn't renewed, JobsViz gives a grace period and then becomes read-only.
- You may make copies of the package only as needed to install and back it up.
3. Trials
We may offer a trial licence for a limited time. Trials are provided "as is", without support commitments, warranties or indemnities, and we may end a trial at any time. When a trial ends, JobsViz behaves as it does when a licence ends.
4. Fees, renewal and ending
- Fees, currency, licence term and payment terms are set out in your Order. Unless the Order says otherwise, invoices are due within 30 days and fees don't include taxes, which you pay (other than taxes on our income).
- Your licence renews only when you renew it with us. JobsViz reminds your administrators before it ends.
- Either of us may end the licence if the other materially breaches these Terms and doesn't fix the breach within 30 days of written notice. We may suspend licence activation for unpaid fees after giving you notice.
- When the licence ends, you may keep using JobsViz read-only to see and export your data; you must stop all other use. Your data stays in your tenant (see section 6).
- Fees already paid aren't refundable, except where these Terms or the law say otherwise.
5. Your responsibilities
- You provide and keep the Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Power Platform and Dataverse subscriptions and user licences JobsViz needs, and you're responsible for your agreements with Microsoft.
- You decide who can use JobsViz, approve its Microsoft permissions, and look after your accounts, groups, permissions, retention and backups.
- You're responsible for the content you put into JobsViz, and for having the right to use it.
- You keep your licence key confidential and don't share it outside your organisation.
6. Your data
JobsViz stores your information in your own Microsoft 365 tenant: in your Dataverse environment and your SharePoint sites. You own your data. Lydon doesn't receive it through JobsViz and has no right to it. The licence service receives only what's described in our privacy policy. If you share data with us for support, we use it only to help you and delete it when it's no longer needed.
7. What you may not do
Except as the law allows despite this restriction, you may not:
- copy, modify, translate or create derivative works of JobsViz, other than configuring it through its own settings;
- reverse engineer, decompile or disassemble it, or try to bypass the licence check;
- sell, sublicense, rent, lend or host JobsViz for third parties, or use it to provide a service to others;
- remove notices of ownership, or use JobsViz to break the law or anyone's rights.
8. Microsoft services
JobsViz runs on Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Dataverse, which Microsoft provides to you under your agreements with Microsoft. We aren't responsible for those services, their availability or changes Microsoft makes to them, though we'll work to keep JobsViz compatible. Microsoft and its product names are trademarks of the Microsoft group of companies; JobsViz isn't made or endorsed by Microsoft.
9. Updates and support
While your licence is active you may receive new versions of JobsViz, and we'll provide reasonable support by email and Microsoft Teams during our business hours. Updates may add, change or remove features; we won't remove a core feature you're using during your licence term without good reason and notice.
10. Ownership and feedback
Lydon and its licensors own JobsViz and the Site, including all intellectual property in them; you get only the rights these Terms give you. If you send us suggestions or feedback, we may use them freely and without obligation to you.
11. Confidentiality
Each of us will keep the other's non-public business information confidential, use it only for the purposes of these Terms, and protect it with reasonable care. This doesn't apply to information that's public, already known, independently developed or rightly received from someone else, or that the law requires to be disclosed (with notice, where allowed).
12. Warranty and disclaimers
We warrant that, during a paid licence term, JobsViz will work substantially as described in its documentation. If it doesn't, tell us; our responsibility, and your only remedy, is for us to make reasonable efforts to fix it, and if we can't, either of us may end the affected licence and we'll refund the fees you prepaid for the remaining term.
Except for that warranty, and to the extent the law allows, JobsViz and the Site are provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. JobsViz helps you manage your work but doesn't replace professional, legal, contractual or safety judgement; you remain responsible for decisions you make with it.
13. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows: (a) neither of us is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or business, even if told they were possible; and (b) each party's total liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid us for JobsViz in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limits don't apply to your payment obligations, a party's indemnity obligations, breach of section 7, or liability that can't be limited by law.
14. Indemnities
We'll defend you against a third-party claim that JobsViz, as we provide it, infringes that party's intellectual property rights, and pay the damages and costs finally awarded or agreed in settlement. If such a claim is made or likely, we may get you the right to keep using JobsViz, change it so it doesn't infringe, or end the licence and refund the prepaid fees for the remaining term. We're not responsible for claims caused by your content, by combining JobsViz with things we didn't provide, or by changes we didn't make. You'll defend us against third-party claims arising from your content or your use of JobsViz in breach of these Terms. The party seeking defence must notify the other promptly, give it control of the defence and reasonable help.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts in Los Angeles County, California, have exclusive jurisdiction, and each of us agrees to their jurisdiction, though either of us may seek urgent relief to protect its intellectual property in any court. The UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods doesn't apply.
16. General
- Changes: we may update these Terms; we'll change the date at the top and tell licensed customers' administrators about significant changes. Changes apply from your next licence term, unless you agree sooner.
- Force majeure: neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.
- Assignment: you may not transfer these Terms without our written consent, except to a successor of your whole business. We may transfer them to a successor of our business.
- Export: you'll comply with export and sanctions laws that apply to your use of JobsViz.
- Entire agreement: these Terms and your Order are the whole agreement about JobsViz. If a part is unenforceable, the rest still applies. Not enforcing a right isn't a waiver of it.
- Notices: we'll send notices to your administrators' email addresses; send yours to the address below.
